Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse: A New Thrilling Adventure

Stay safe and warm inside today! ❄️ If you’re trapped by the snow, it’s the perfect time to dive into a world where the stakes are even higher.

In Zombie, by Nancy Ann Creed, the world changes overnight when a relentless virus sweeps the globe. While the snow piles up outside your window, follow the harrowing journey of Selda, Edmond, Edith, and a group of resilient survivors as they navigate a landscape where the dead have begun to walk.

From the eerie silence of a high-rise apartment to a fortified middle school sanctuary, these survivors must band together to face a nightmare that feels all too real.

Why you’ll love it:

  • High-Stakes Survival: Watch a group of students and adults transform a school into a fortress.
  • Unforgettable Characters: Experience the apocalypse through the eyes of those who have lost everything but refused to give up hope.
  • A New Kind of Terror: These aren’t your typical movie monsters—they carry fragments of their former lives and memories.

Bundle up with a blanket, grab a hot drink, and get lost in a story of grit and resilience.

A Love For Winter

I can’t wait for this!

A Love For Winter

The wind howls fierce, a frozen bite,
The world outside, a canvas white.
Snow piles high, a drifted dream,
But inside, warmth, a cozy gleam.

The furnace hums a steady tune,
A counterpoint to winter’s moon.
I stir the pot, a savory scent,
A comfort that is heaven-sent.

My little ones, with rosy cheeks,
Sip steaming cocoa, soft and meek.
They build a fort of blankets grand,
A kingdom in this winter land.

I mend a tear, I read a book,
A gentle, loving, mother’s look.
Their laughter rings, a joyful sound,
The warmest feeling can be found.

Outside, the storm may rage and roar,
But love has locked our cozy door.
These precious moments, close and deep,
Are treasures that my heart will keep.

For in the giving, in the care,
A love so strong beyond compare,
I find a warmth that burns so bright,
A mother’s love, a guiding light.

The snow may fall, the winds may blow,
But in this heart, a fire will glow.
For family’s love, a precious art,
Keeps winter’s chill far from my heart.

❄Snow….Snow…Snow…❄

❄Snow….Snow…Snow…❄

The forecast calls for flurries, a chance, a dusting slight,
But my old heart yearns for blizzards, a swirling, snowy night.
I check the app obsessively, refreshing every hour,
Hoping those little flakes amass, become a wintry power.

The ground is bare and brown, the sky a dreary gray,
My inner child is stamping feet, impatient for the day
When drifts will pile up high against the window pane,
And the world transforms to magic, a pristine, white domain.

I know I’m not a youngster, with snow days free and bright,
But something in that frozen dance sets my old soul alight.
The quiet hush it brings upon the land, a peaceful, soft embrace,
Erases all the worries etched upon my timeworn face.

So let it snow, let it snow, let it pile up to the sky,
These weary bones will marvel as the flakes go whirling by.
I’ll watch from my warm window, with cocoa in my hand,
And dream of childhood winters in this snowy wonderland.

Ode to Snow

Ode to Snow

Oh, snow, you soft and silent fall,
A hush descends upon us all.
The world transformed, a canvas white,
Where shadows dance in sun’s pale light.

You cloak the boughs in feathery dress,
And drape the hills in gentle grace.
Each twig, a crystal chandelier,
Each blade of grass, a frosted tear.

Your whisper paints the air with chill,
Yet sets the heart aflutter still.
For children’s laughter takes its flight,
On wings of snow, so pure and bright.

In snowball fights and snowmen tall,
You weave a magic, one and all.
Time slows, the world holds its breath,
As footprints etch a path to death.

But fleeting are your icy charms,
A kiss of winter’s fleeting arms.
The sun’s warm gaze, a tender plea,
Will melt your veil, set shadows free.

Yet though you fade, we hold you dear,
A memory whispered, ever near.
For in your hush, in silence deep,
A slumbering world finds winter’s sleep.

So hail, oh snow, you fleeting guest,
A blanket spun, a winter’s crest.
May dreams unfurl in your embrace,
And wake to find a world reborn in space.

SNOW

The cold crisp sound,
It echoes as I step.

Crunch crunch.

The cold hits my nose,
As my eyes sting as the wind blows.

Crunch crunch.

It reflects the light,
And shines so bright.

Crunch Crunch.

The white is all I see.
The wind is all I feel.

Crunch Crunch.

The smell of hot chocolate in the air.
The warmth of the blanket I long for.

Crunch Crunch.

I'm almost home.
