The Unbreakable Covenant

The Unbreakable Covenant

We stand together, a multitude wide,
Our inherent worth cannot be denied.
We are the many, strong and profound,
On worthy, undeniable ground.

A powerful force, a presence complete,
In every life’s aspect, we cannot retreat.
We are the bedrock, the muse, and the light,
The mothers who nurture, the wives who unite.
Companions and partners, the friends tried and true,
The unwavering support, seeing the world through.

Yet a flaw in our unity, a shadow we find,
The support we give others, we leave behind.
Hesitant to challenge, to push past the ease,
To reach true potential that surely would please.
And most painful of all, a failure to claim,
The hard-won successes, and speak a sister’s name.

This must cease now, the passive days gone,
We must seek out the moments, from dusk until dawn.
To offer our praise, let our voices ring true,
Each milestone a triumph, for me and for you.
To consciously lift, giving momentum and grace,
For every woman to find her true place.
To challenge with love, with expectation’s firm hand,
Demanding of excellence, across all the land.
No criticism this is, but mutual rise,
Reflected in sisterhood’s true, loving eyes.

Through this vow to support, and challenge we make,
The success we can grasp, for goodness’ sake.
Empowering each other, we’ll shift and transform,
The women the world needs, weathering every storm.
We’ll embody the purpose, we were meant to be,
The women who changed the world, for all eyes to see.

To achieve this high goal, the toxins must fall,
Excise the dark poisons that hold us in thrall.
Shed the debilitating jealousy’s sting,
That blinds us to triumphs the good moments bring.

Discard the destructive competition and strife,
Focus energy outward, on a better world’s life.
Not inward, against us, our battles are clear,
Fighting for progress, not fueled by dark fear.

Cast off the petty, the soul-crushing hate,
It consumes the bright light that seals our fate.
The path forward is dimmed by this darkness within,
We must clear out the shadows, and let light begin.

Let a new sacred covenant be firmly held fast,
A mandate of love that is meant to last.
Unconditional loving, and support burning bright,
A sisterhood rising, with all of its might.
Unbreakable, unstoppable, changing the world’s face,
United in purpose, and filled with true grace.

Heavy Chains Hold Back

In rows of desks, dreams take their seat,
Young minds ablaze with a burning heat.
They see the stars, a distant gleam,
But heavy chains hold back their dream.

Textbooks whisper of worlds unknown,
Of mountains climbed and battles won.
Their fingers trace the charted course,
But doubt creeps in, a chilling force.

The weight of burdens, unseen walls,
Whisper of limits, destined falls.
A voice unheard, a stifled song,
The fear of failing, crushing strong.

Yet, in their eyes, a flicker burns,
A yearning for lessons life returns.
A chance to break the bonds that bind,
To leave the path, a course they’ll find.

For even wings clipped, dreams take flight,
In stolen moments, bathed in light.
They’ll paint their futures, stroke by stroke,
And find the strength within to poke

A hole in barriers, brick by brick,
With every “no,” their spirits pick
Themselves up, stronger than before,
For even dreams that can’t quite soar

Can take them places, hearts untamed,
A fire lit, a future claimed.
These students, yearning, reaching high,
Will find their wings, and learn to fly.

My Friend, My Sister

My friend, my sister, strong and bold,
A spirit bright, a heart of gold.
Though shadows linger, skies may frown,
Your inner strength will see you through this town.

Doubt whispers lies, it may seem true,
But don’t believe, it’s just a passing hue.
Your fire burns bright, a radiant flame,
It cannot be dimmed, not by doubt or blame.

Remember dreams you hold so dear,
The goals you chase, the ones held near.
With every step, you pave the way,
Forging your path, a brighter day.

So lift your chin, and hold your head high,
There’s nothing you can’t reach, not a single sky.
Believe in yourself, with all your might,
You are a warrior, a dazzling light.

And when you stumble, or feel the weight,
Know that I’m here, by your side, not fate.
A listening ear, a hand to hold,
This journey’s shared, a story told.

So go forth, my friend, with courage true,
The world awaits, there’s so much to do.
Shine on, my friend, forever bright,
Your future’s waiting, bathed in golden light.

Buy me a Cup of Coffee and Patreon

Many authors I follow have sites like Buy Me a Coffee and Patreon. I wasn’t sure if it would be a good idea if I made one too. But over the summer, I started to think about it more seriously. I followed some authors and saw what they used their platforms for. I modeled my pages after some of them, taking what I liked from one and something from another.

Fast forward to today: I just published my sites! I plan on writing short stories and books that will be exclusive to my Patreon subscribers. I think I might release exclusive chapters in order, and then publish the book after it’s polished up a bit. Of course, this will be a first draft, but I think I can have a lot of fun with this platform.

Check out my new blog! I don’t have much up yet, but I’ll be posting a few times a week, and I’ll start posting chapters by the end of the week. Fingers crossed!

Why Can’t Women Support Others and Not be Jealous.

Why Can’t Women Support Others and Not be Jealous.

They say we are sisters, but I see
Only rivals, who compete for the prize,
For the man, or the job, or the praise
That will make us feel worthy, at last.

We tear each other down with our words,
Our looks, our actions, our very presence,
For we know that if we let one of us succeed,
It will mean that we have to fail.

So we claw and we scratch and we bite,
And we do whatever it takes to win,
For we know that if we don’t, we will lose
To the other woman, who is just as mean.

We are the daughters of Eve, they say,
And we are cursed to compete with each other,
But I say that is a lie, and a curse
That we can break, if we choose to.

So let us stop competing, and start supporting,
Let us lift each other up, instead of tearing down,
For when we do that, we all win,
And the world becomes a better place.

Women Need to Support Other Women

Women rarely support each other.  It is hard to find women that support each other.

When I was in school, kids bullied me.  My mom was the sick mom with cancer and we didn’t have a lot of money, My clothes were old and torn. Since then I had low self-esteem.

I found later that writing was something I loved. And when I found Roleplay,  I made friends fast, and I didn’t believe it. Someone told me I was their best friend, and I took a long time to believe it. Because who wants me as a best friend?

When it comes to Role Play, it seems a lot of women think they must be the center of attention.  In a role play, you can be anyone you want to be. I find people change who they are and use fake profiles because they are not happy with themselves.

Role Play is best when you let people be creative. We’ve had some awesome plots that were not created by admins. My friend Breen created two plots that were amazing. I know will blush if she reads this but its true.

Women should be supporting each other and encouraging each other. We should take a step back and allow others to have the spotlight on them.

Of course, this goes beyond writing and role-playing and into everything we do. Women need to support each other and lift each other up instead of tearing each other down.

Support (A Poem About Supporting Others)

Support I give and rarely receive.
How is it the ones closest to you,
Are the ones who don’t support you?
Strangers give you praise and those you love
Wonder why they should.
Why can’t we praise people and support those we love?
Are we only there to support, when times are rough?
Why are those in your corner, not truly there for you?
When they have so much to give when your cards are down,
But nothing when you achieve your goals.

I Was Wrong

I Was Wrong

I thought they were my friends.
I thought I was important.
I thought they would support me,
But alas, I was wrong.
I cherished the memories,
I cherished our talks,
I cherished our friendship,
But alas, I was wrong to cherish these things.
In the end, it never mattered.
In the end, it is all gone.
In the end, I am alone.

Women Need to Support Women

We are many and we are worthy.
We are a force to be reckoned with.
We are your mothers and wives.
We are your best friends and your support system.

We don’t support each other as we should.
We don’t challenge each other as we should.
We don’t acknowledge each other's success.

We need to praise each other.
We need to lift each other up.
We need to challenge each other,
So, we can be the success we know we are.

So, we can be the women this world needs.
So, we can be the women we are meant to be.
So, we can be the women who changed the world.

Get rid of Jealousy you hold on to!
Get rid of the competition between us!
Get rid of the hate!
Love each other and support each other.Â
