Two Souls Collide

In shallow waters souls may graze,
Years spent wading in a friendly haze.
Laughter shared, and tales unfurled,
But oceans deep remain unpearled.

Then, a tide comes rushing in,
Whispers secrets on the skin.
Two souls collide, a spark ignites,
A supernova in shared sights.

No awkward pauses, no forced cheer,
Just kindred spirits drawing near.
Mirrored thoughts in whispered verse,
Understanding without rehearse.

Time loses grip, days weave like dreams,
In unspoken joys and silent screams.
No need to bridge the distant shore,
For sisterhood blooms at the ocean’s core.

So let the shallows play their part,
But hold true treasure close to heart.
For some connections, bound by fate,
Transcend the years, and rise above the gate.

And You Still Love Me

You Still Love Me
I can tell you everything,
All that's on my heart.

You can see me cry,
and
Hear me laugh.

You see my flaws,
and
My faults.

And somehow still,
You love me.

I can tell you everything,
All that's on my heart.

You see me mad,
And
You hear me scream.

You see my errors
And
You see my pain.

And somehow still,
You love me.

I can be myself,
As odd as I am.
As kooky and bizarre as I am.
And you love it all the same.
That's what love is supposed to look like.

My Soul Sings For You

My soul sings for you.
Each day the love grows.
More than I know it could ever grow.

How could one person love someone as much as I love you?
You have more patience and grace than I.
Each day I see your love and it moves my soul.

My heart warms and I wonder how I ever became so blessed to have you in my life.
