For Those I have Hurt

The weight of words unsaid, a heart’s remorse,
For past mistakes, a friendship’s altered course.
Through introspection’s lens, the pain I see,
And own the hurt, the lasting memory.

A journey now, to mend the fractured soul,
Through therapy and workshops, to make me whole.
Though words may fail to bridge the chasm wide,
Acceptance dawns, with nowhere left to hide.

In youthful zeal, a longing to belong,
Where shared delights would banish fears that throng.
Yet insecurity, a shadow in the mind,
Cast its dark spell, leaving wounds behind.

Controlling ways, a grasp that held too tight,
Dictating paths, eclipsing others’ light.
But lessons learned, a shift in perception’s hold,
To value differences, stories yet untold.

A commitment made, to nurture and to grow,
Where friendships bloom, and mutual respect will flow.
To listen deeply, offer support’s hand,
And build a bond where trust and kindness stand.

No blame resides, no fault in your own art,
Your talent shines, a creative, vibrant heart.
Through time and trials, growth has found its way,
In every pen, a brighter, bolder day.

Life’s tapestry, with threads of joy and pain,
Woven through moments, loss, and lessons gained.
A wake-up call, a fragile life’s embrace,
To cherish moments, leave no empty space.

No excuses sought, no burdens to impart,
Just truths revealed, a vulnerable, open heart.
No expectations, no forgiveness to implore,
Just heartfelt sorrow, knocking at your door.

With hopes for healing, and a future yet untold,
A sincere apology, a story to unfold.
May time bring solace, and mend the broken ties,
And grant forgiveness, beneath compassionate skies.
